1. Art is a way to express yourself through creating something. You can create art with music or physical things. People pour how they feel or how they want others to feel into the rt they make, some see it as a therapy to make themselves feel heard. Art inspires millions around the world everyday in millions of ways. At the beginning of this year I saw art as just a fun thing to do, now I understand it's much more than that.
3. I would've answered this question differently in August by saying copying is the definition of plagiarism, but in art it's different. Copying and plagiarism are different. People can take someone else's ideas and make them their own. You can be inspired by someone's idea, and copy the train of thought of how another person created the original piece. All art is different and made for different reasons, so copying and plagiarism are different. Although, you have to be careful how you approach it. You don't want to take someone's art and claim it as your own.
4. People make art to show how they feel, or to inspire others. A lot of people use art as an excuse to escape from reality and create their own world. When I create something it feels good to know you can show how you feel on paper or in sculptures. Inspiring people through art is very special thing talented people can do. AT the bginning of this class I only made art for fun when I was bored, but now learning about other artists and their stories made me realize people make art for a greater purpose.
7. The point of this class was to teach us basic art skills to help carry out our work better. It's helped me feel confident in my art. I got a very great learning experience out of this class, it's helped me grow as an artist. The things I've learned this semester will help me every time I make art from here on out.
